Frequently asked questions

Does our money pass through Oriente 33?
No. Your Lodge connects its own Stripe account and the brethren's payments settle directly into it. Oriente 33 organizes the billing and records the payments — it never holds Lodge funds, and it takes no percentage of what you collect.
What if our Lodge doesn't want to collect online?
The module also runs in Manual Mode: the Treasurer records the charges, each brother pays however he prefers, and the Treasurer marks it paid from the Treasury panel. Brethren can attach a payment receipt so the Treasurer isn't recording it blind.
Does a new Treasurer inherit the history?
Yes. Every posting, payment, report and charity fund record stays in the system. That solves the single worst problem of an annual line change — the year the books walk out the door with the outgoing Treasurer.
Does it work for a Blue Lodge, or only for a Grand Lodge?
It is built for the subordinate Lodge — the Secretary, the Treasurer and the Worshipful Master of a Blue Lodge. Each Lodge is a separate tenant with its own records, its own payment account and its own users.
